Hardware Delivery Box

Box Prep​

  1. Locate a clean cardboard box big enough for all the hardware that is needed to be sent to the jobsite (less boxes = less confusion and lost parts)
  2. Label box with job name and job number
  3. Label the outside of the box with a list of all its contents
  4. Label with in large bold letters LOAD LAST this is to ensure the box that is loaded last into the truck is the first to be unloaded on the job site.

Box Contents​

  1. Adjustment Feet, for Häfele AXILO™ 78 plinth system
  2. 3 SETS OF DRAWINGS (1 set for loading the contents into the truck and deliver, 2 sets for site)
  3. Enough Hafele cabinet legs for every cabinet in the job PLUS 2 EXTRA (Use the scale in the stock room for larger qualities)

How Many legs?

Cabinets UNDER 36” need 4 legs

Cabinets OVER 36” need 6 legs

Cabinet with a drawn plywood base need ZERO legs

  1. Plinth Panel Clip, Also suitable for Häfele AXILO™ 78 plinth system Enough Plinth panel clips for the front legs only on all cabinet in the job that use the Hafele cabinet legs PLUS 2 EXTRA OF EACH PART

  1. Enough shelf pins for every cabinet in the job plus PLUS 4 EXTRA (DO NOT COUNT BY HAND, USE THE SCALE IN THE PARTS ROOM)
How many Pins?

Cabinets UNDER 36” need 4 pins

Cabinets OVER 36” need 5 pins (1 added to back center of the shelf for support)

  1. Touch up paint for cabinet interiors (i.e., Orion grey melamine and White melamine)
  2. Touch up paint (UNCATALYZED)
  3. Touch up stain
  4. Touch up topcoat (i.e., dead flat lacquer)
  5. 1 tube of White Alex plus “Brilliant white” latex caulking AKA DAP

  1. ADHESIVE POLYURETHANE PL PREM 295MLConstruction adhesive AKA PL (only send if needed. if you are unsure if it is needed or quantity needed ask Dan)

  1. For jobs with solid surface include 1 tube with 2 tips of the correct colour for the solid surface used in the job
